My girlfriend Val just bought a Mini, and named it Stanford (I prefered Winchell).

In hindsight from an advertising perspective, losing CP+B (who thought VW was a more important brand -- which ironically is what Val gave up to get her Mini!) and going with Butler Shine Stern may have been the best thing for the Mini brand. Even throughtout the purchase process there's some neat little leave-behinds which welcome you into the "community", which seems as strong as the mod Vespa crowd once you become aware of it. If CP+B stayed with Mini we'd undoubtedly be seeing the Midget BK Farmer driving around in a Mini. When will CP+B learn?

But my favorite thing about the Mini does happen to be that the trunk is the perfect size for Dead Midget Storage. And there's a neat little hiden compartment above the glove box that is the perfect size for your midget-maming tool collection.
